Temperatures swung wildly throughout March, with some days in the 70s and others in the low 30s.  With the warming up came the arrival of spring flowers, especially forsythia bushes turning a vivid bright yellow towards the end of the month.  By the end of March, there were yellow forsythia bushes throughout my street, Bair Road.  

 

Kipper and I went to Trexler Park in Allentown on Sunday.  Our mini-adventure began at the parking lot.  It was pretty full because of the pleasant weather.  We got on the trail that circles the park, and Kipper immediately hurried towards the pond with ducks in it, eager to jump in the water.  I had to pull him back.  

We continued on the trail until we reached the first bridge over the creek, which runs through the park.

In March, the weather (what it is like outside) changed a lot. Some days were warm (not cold). Some days were cold.

When the weather got warm, spring flowers (colorful parts of plants) started to grow. Forsythia bushes (plants with yellow flowers) bloomed (made flowers). They were bright (very strong color) yellow. By the end of March, I saw many yellow flowers along my street.

On Sunday, I went to the park with my dog, Kipper. We went to Trexler Park. Our adventure (a fun trip) started in the parking lot (place for cars). It was full (many cars) because the weather was nice.

We walked on a trail (a path for walking). Kipper ran to a pond (small water area) with ducks. He wanted to jump in the water. I pulled him back (stopped him).

We kept walking. We came to a bridge (a way to go over water). The bridge was over a creek (a small river).
