The city of Philadelphia welcomed the new year with the 125th annual Mummer's Parade, a special event where people dressed in costumes march through Center City Philadelphia, often accompanied by instruments and various dances.
Many people braved cold, blustery weather to take in the festivities and celebrate one of Philadelphia's most unique cultural traditions.
